At the brink of A New Year, everyone expects the Incoming Year to bring in a New Beginning.
When the Clock strikes at midnight, will everything indeed become New?
Will all our old problems suddenly evaporate? Will all our old debts suddenly get paid off? Will we automatically achieve all our old desires?
The answer is No!
Yes, a New Year brings with it the Hope for Newness. But believe me when I tell you that you that the next year will just be an exact replica of the old year if you don’t Choose for it to be any different.
If you do not begin to live your life with Intentionality, the next year won’t be any better.
“Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion. You must first set yourself on fire.” – Fred Shero
I had told myself a few months back that my next year will be:
“My Year of Intentionality.”
I will live my life Intentionally.
Everything I do or engage in will be those things that will add value to my personal goals and desires.
I will deliberately cut off anything and anyone who is not going to help me in moving towards God’s plans for my life.
Those things we need to embrace may not necessarily be the things we like, but we must do those things to ensure that we are moving in the direction God wants us to move in the next year.
Let me leave you with this as we all embrace the New Year:
Love You All Endlessly,
